Colvic Countess 37CC motorsailer built by Cox Marine as a Cox 12 Metre. The best of both worlds, the good sailing qualities the Colvic Countess is renowned for, alongside the practicality of a motorsailer. Internal steering position and centre cockpit wheel steering. Colvic Marine built complete boats and hulls for other builders and the DIY market. "Valfreya" is a Colvic Countess 37 CC hull which was internally fitted out by Cox Marine Ltd. of Brightlingsea in Essex. She was built as a motorsailer although with the pedigree of the Colvic Countess hull she is just as much a sailing boat, but with the added advantage of an internal steering position.
