"Millbrook" is a Nelson 42 built by Halmatic in 1979. She has been a training school boat for You & Sea Marine Services RYA Centre.

She is fully coded to MCA Cat 2 for 10+2, and is about to be re-certified. A new commercial owner can take advantage of this.

Purchased from a private owner in 2015 she underwent a full refit.

Re-engined, new gearboxes and all associated equipment.
Underwater hull stripped, epoxied and Coppercoated.
Hull and topsides professionally repainted.
New Treadmaster fitted to the decks.
And a whole host of other work!

She is professionally maintained and in full operational order as you would expect from a highly professional marine business.

MCA Coding & associated equipment

Millbrook is due her 5 year MCA survey (including out of the water survey), this will be completed on the 12th May 25.
On completion of the survey all items for coding will have been independently checked.
All coding items will be sold with the boat including lifejackets and liferaft.

Constructed by Halmatic Ltd. in October 1979 to Lloyds standards and designed for Southampton Harbour as a Pilot boat. The hull is therefore structurally superior, utilising a heavier layup and heavy duty stringers.

The vessel was then purchased privately in 2003 and refitted as a pleasure yacht.

Purchased by You & Sea Marine Services in 2015 and again underwent a major refit.

Hull, deck & superstructure

GRP hull, deck constructed under Lloyds supervision.
Underwater hull peeled, epoxied and Coppercoated 2015-16. This was done to consolidate the hull integrity against Osmosis
Hull professionally repainted 2015-16.
Superstructure repainted 2015-16.
New Treadmaster fitted 2015-16.
Bespoke aluminium sliding doors fitted 2023 (£18,000!).
Coming out of the water on 12th may for summer maintenance including hull polishing, deck repaint and exterior wood varnish work.

Wheelhouse

Sliding access doors port and starboard and stair access to the lower saloon and aft cabin.

Aft to port is an open fronted locker and to starboard open fronted lockers and dedicated chart storage.

Aft en-suite cabin

Port and starboard single berths.
Each berth has two under berth drawers.
